True story: @francisxsuarez is the first #Miami born mayor of our city. Like me, his Cuban parents came to this country in search of freedom and opportunity. Today, @sergioscuban celebrated the opening of their #Brickell location with a simple question: what year did your family first taste freedom? Many of us are immigrants or children of immigrants who risked it all for a new beginning. When looking back on the stories that brought us here, we remember why it’s important to honor that legacy and keep those stories alive.
